This oil painting is my interpretation of The Triplets of Belleville, capturing the eccentric charm and vintage glamour of the animated film’s iconic trio. The three singers stand close together on stage, their expressive faces and exaggerated gestures frozen mid-song as they harmonize around a gleaming vintage microphone. Dressed in richly colored gowns of emerald green, burnt orange, and deep plum, each adorned with fur collars and flamboyant hats accented by flowers and feathers, they exude both elegance and whimsy. Set against deep blue stage curtains, the scene radiates rhythm, color, and movement—inviting viewers to almost hear the melody and feel the nostalgic energy of a bygone cabaret era.
